Privacy Policy
America's Strongest Gym™ is operated by RampTec (“we”). This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it — in plain English, because you actually might read this one.
What we collect
Lift submissions: athlete name, division, the lift and weight, optional bodyweight, optional Instagram handle, optional email, and the video (uploaded to our storage or linked from a public platform). Accounts (gym owners): name, email, and a password we store only as a salted hash. Gym pages:what owners add — logo, description, website, Instagram. Automatically: standard web analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) via Vercel Analytics — no advertising trackers, no selling data, no cross-site anything.
The part that matters: the leaderboard is public
This is a public ranking site. When a judge approves a lift, the athlete's name, lift, weight, division, gym, and video appear publicly — on the leaderboard, the gym's page, the athlete's page, and TV boards. Approved videos may also be reposted on our social channels with our branding, under the license you grant at submission. Emails and bodyweight are not shown publicly; bodyweight feeds the DOTS ranking as a number only.
How we use what we collect
To run the leaderboard: judging, ranking, record history, and the emails the platform sends (submission decisions, record alerts, owner notices). We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it except with the services that host the platform: Vercel (hosting, analytics, file storage), Neon (database), Resend (email), Stripe (payments for gym owners — card details go to Stripe, never to us), and Printify (the merch store, which is its own checkout).
Removal & your choices
Want a lift, video, athlete profile, or account removed? Email info@americasstrongestgym.com and we'll take it down promptly. Parents and guardians can request removal of a minor's entry at any time — see the Minors Policy. Note that a linked video lives on the platform you posted it to; deleting it there is in your hands, and the lift comes off our board when you ask (or when the link dies).
Retention & security
We keep leaderboard records as long as the board exists — that's the product — unless you ask for removal. Operational data (audit logs, backups) is kept on a rolling basis. Traffic is encrypted, passwords are hashed, and access to the database is limited to the operators of the platform.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new effective date. Questions: info@americasstrongestgym.com.
Effective: September 6, 2026.
